About

Ruth is an illustrator & printmaker, originally from Bristol but currently living in the Arctic. Her work is inspired by mythology, notions of femininity, nature & wildlife & heavily influenced by her passion for tattoos, dance & acrobatics. She is also a devout lover of graphic novels & children’s books, which is also evident in her work. Her piece for Art Comes Alive was a complete departure from her usual meticulous & planned-out style. She really enjoyed the freedom the experience gave her the opportunity to explore.
